This week we have explored the techniques of Vincent Van Gogh in Art. We learnt a little about his life and his change in style. We discussed his use of brush strokes and thick acrylic paint. We learnt that he is an impressionist artist.  

In English, the children were learning to sequence the key events only of chapter 2 of the Iron Man by Ted Hughes! They are very engaged by our new novel! They used a range of pictures from the text, freeze frames of their own and their own illustrations to story board. They were tasked to apply their learning on adverbs to their captions and include speech bubbles!
