This week we have been learning about tints and shade. The children enjoyed applying this new knowledge, making tints and shades with the colours blue and yellow - those colours used by Van Gogh.

In English, we have begun an integrated unit on diary writing. The children were all working on different diary entries, extracting information to find out who, what, where, when and why. The children had to prepare to present back to the class. We were able to answer these questions for each diary so we know our own need to answer them too! 

In Science, we have been learning that light allows us to see. This week's investigation was to identify surfaces that reflect. The children tested a range of objects made from different materials.
