A busy first week back! 

Year 3 were comparing how things move on different surfaces in Science. In English, they were learning how to infer character's thoughts and feelings through creating freeze frames. There was a roving reporter who went to question some of them in role as to how they were feeling and what they were thinking. 

In Design and Technology, the children were investigating and analysing existing food products (bread based lunches) which involved looking at the appearance, the smell, the taste and the texture of products. They thoroughly enjoyed the tasting! 

In History, we were learning that the past is divided into time periods. We built our own timelines, thinking about the length of the time periods. We included time periods from our previous learning within Year 3 and previous years as well as the time periods being studied this half term.
