This week in Science we began our new unit about plants. First, we went to visit our Year 2 plant experts and asked them to help activate our prior knowledge. We then observed plants, including a Venus fly trap and Cacti to answer the question 'If plants could talk, what would they say?'. The children knew that plants need water, soil, air, sunlight and space to grow. Finally, we continued our learning by going outside to label different parts of plants.
