WC 5.5.25

This week's Geography lesson took us to the Lake District and what an amazing time we had! The children were a credit to school. They were able to talk about the mountain and lake formation and see these in person! We walked up to Biskey Howe viewpoint and did some sketch mapping and then continued up to Brant Fell viewpoint where went enjoyed our lunch.

In English, we were preparing for our scaffolded outcome, the children were navigating texts in print and on screen and making notes using key facts. They then had to orally rehearse their facts putting their key words into sentences.

In Art, we were using bending and coiling techniques to have a go at turning flat paper into 3D sculpture.
