This week in Science, we were looking at irreversible changes-thinking about whether materials change back to their original state. We mixed bicarbonate of soda and vinegar together to see the reaction. We observed a gas forming as it started to bubble and found out that a solution had formed. We also observed paper being burned and discussed the new material (ash) which had been formed.
