At the start of the week, a group called 'Ukulele smiles' came in to perform some songs linked to Remembrance Day. The children enjoyed hearing about their relatives who were in the war and joining in with some of the songs.
We were mixing colour pallets in art, adding white to create a tint, adding black to create a shade and adding grey to create a tone. We learnt that using these colour pallets made Megan Coyles artwork more realistic.
4H were really proud this week as they had worked together to fill their gem jar. As their reward, we followed instructions in order to make some origami animals. Some of the children have used these as their bookmarks this week.
