We have started lots of new units this week.
In PÉ we began our dance unit by discussing different electrical appliances and which room you would find them in. We then worked in groups to create a freeze frame using electrical appliances while the rest of us guessed the room they were freeze framing.

In science, we investigated what happens to different liquids when they are cooled, and we learnt that viscosity can affect the temperature at which a liquid freezes. 
In Art, we started researching the artist Jean Basquait, his life and his style. We then created a page of information about him. 
 

We also had a very special visitor, Paul Sturgess. He told us about his life as a basketball player, and more recently as an actor. His main message was that being different is a good thing, and how much you can achieve when you are different.
