What a super final two weeks of school we have had.
In English, we started looking at persuasive devices, learning what they are and exploring examples of them. This was in preparation for writing our persuasive letters about deforestation.
In Science, we explored irreversible changes. We made ice cream by mixing milk and sugar, while using ice and salt to help it freeze. We observed the change from a liquid to a solid. We also watched paper being burned and observed the ash that was left behind. Finally, we mixed vinegar and bicarbonate of soda together and observed the new gas that was produced. We could clearly see this reaction as a glove inflated from the gas that was created.
