This week we celebrated VE Day. We learnt about what VE Day (Victory in Europe) was and how families and children were impacted by WW2. The children enjoyed looking at the old photos on a PowerPoint and noticed things about transport, clothes and the picture quality. 
We finished the day with a garden party in the style of the VE Day street parties. We had some food and listened to Vera Lynne and other songs from the time and had a little dance. 🇬🇧
