This week the children have been exploring the effects of friction in Science and have enjoyed finding out the meaning of new and unfamiliar words from our new English text 'The Legend of Gelert'. In groups, the children researched ways Britain stood firm during WW2 and became experts in a key area. They then presented their learning to the rest of the class. They were fantastic and we all learnt a lot! We finished off the week with some taste testing in Design Technology, trying out different bread products and were video makers in training in Computing trying out different filming techniques.
