We have come to the end of many of our foundation units of work this week. The children have really impressed me with how much they have learnt, especially about earthquakes and volcanoes.  In PÉ, the children were amazing at bodge ball.  They showed fantastic understanding of the rules and were able to apply these when they got a turn at being the referee.  The children also showed fantastic sportsmanship, encouraging each other, and shaking hands with their opponents at the end of the game. 
In music, the children have started their new unit, and begun playing the glockenspiels using notes DEF. 
In English, the children have produced some amazing openings to their Rumaysa narratives. They've written some excellent dialogue and fantastic descriptions using expanded noun phrases.
