In Science, we were learning about the functions of the parts of the plant. The children worked in groups, scanning QR codes and then having learnt about the functions, they created a group poster. The children then taught the rest of the class what they had learnt. We added these posters to our working wall. 
 

On Friday 1st May, we went to the Lake District as part of our geography unit on mountains and lakes. We had learnt about how mountains and lakes were formed before our visit so it was wonderful to see in person everything we had learnt. We looked around the town in preparation for our next lesson which is about tourism. 
 

In Art, we were using coiling and bending to create a 3D paper sculpture.
