W/C 22.6.26

What a busy two weeks we have had in year three!
First we had sports week, so we took part in lots of different sports, such as cheerleading, rugby and orienteering. We ended the week with our sports day too, which was great fun!

In Science, we were observing to see what happened to the colour of the petals when we added blue food colouring to the water. We predicted the petals would change colour because we had learnt that the function of the stem is to transport water.
We also observed our plants that we had taken requirements from to see if we could notice any changes.

In History, we went on our visit to Ribchester to see where the fort itself was built, and we saw the ruins of the Roman baths and granaries. What an amazing day!
