WB 19.10.26
A fantastic end to the half term in 3B as we completed some topics and began some new ones!
In science we have been exploring different kinds of rock using microscopes and magnifying glasses. We observed some very interesting features and learnt the names of different rock categories.
In DT we studied packaging and thought carefully about why certain packaging appeals to different people. We then used the laptops to begin to design a net for a box.
Finally, our leaflets about the landmarks of Burnley were brilliantly written and showed the children’s understanding of subordinate clauses and determiners! The children really enjoyed being tour guides for the morning, showing their friends around the school grounds as we immersed ourselves in the language!
A wonderful start to the year and long may it continue!
