Reading

We would encourage all children to read to an adult at least three times a week and to have their record signed and commented in. Whenever your child has completed a book, please could they put into the 'reading book basket" to have them replaced. Please could they bring their reading book and record back every Friday to be checked.

Homework

Homework will be sent home each Friday and should be completed by the following Wednesday. Homework will consist of spellings and times tables practise. Spelling lists will be sent both on paper and set on Spelling Shed which can be accessed online. Times table work will be set online on TimesTables Rockstars each week. Children will also be given a half termly homework task sheet which will be monitored in the last week of half term.

PE

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure children have their full indoor and outdoor PE kit in school and it would be really helpful if items of clothing are labelled.
