Our Learning
The Life Bus
Today Sarah and Harold the Giraffe came to see us in class. We discussed our bodies and how we can keep healthy. We learnt about the vitamins and minerals found in different foods and how we need to eat 10 portions of fruit and vegetables per day to stay healthy. We discussed the importance of water, sleep and exercise. We also looked at how to be a good friend.
Our Class Tree
In Science we have started our work on Plants. The children have been learning about the different parts of a flower and some of their functions and this week we have been learning about the parts of a tree. We went out with our class to examine our tree and we will be keeping a close eye on it as it changes throughout the year.
